    How to finish your task

Optimize supported JPEG objects and inspect the actual savings. Add files and review settings. Create the result, check the preview, actual size and limitations, then download a new file.

    Practical example

Try a lower JPEG quality for a photo-heavy PDF. Check the original and output sizes and the number of optimized images.

    Scope and limitations

Only supported RGB JPEG images are recompressed. PNG, CMYK and text-heavy PDFs may not shrink; the original is returned if there is no saving.

Files are not uploaded to a server. Outputs are new files, so originals remain unchanged. Review the result before saving.

    When is this useful?

Recompress supported JPEG objects in a photo-heavy PDF. Text-heavy or unsupported-image PDFs may not shrink.

    Input and result example

photo-heavy PDF → optimized PDF or unchanged original

Examples illustrate the workflow; actual size, support and recognition depend on the source and settings.
