Who is responsible

KJKJ, represented by 고준표, operates Coverton and is responsible for its processing of personal information. The contact details below also reach our privacy contact. The public free website has no account registration or payment form.

File contents stay on your device

Browser tools process selected files locally. Coverton does not upload their contents to a conversion server or use them to train AI. The website operator cannot retrieve your files or restore deleted results. Do not email sensitive originals for support; describe the issue or use a sample with personal information removed.

Browser storage and cookies

Temporary work can be stored in IndexedDB or the browser’s private file storage to continue in another tool. It expires 24 hours after creation and is cleaned up when the website next runs; closing the browser does not cause immediate deletion. Theme, language, recent tools and website caches can remain until you clear site data. Downloaded files are managed separately in your chosen folder.

Use temporary-file management or your browser’s site-data controls to remove local data. Clearing it can remove unfinished work and preferences. We have no active advertising or external analytics integration, do not sell personal information, and do not use cross-site advertising trackers. Hosting security functions may use essential technologies separately.

Website delivery and hosting

OpenAI ChatGPT Sites hosts the public website. Website requests necessarily expose technical connection information, such as IP address, requested URL, browser information and time, to hosting infrastructure for delivery, security and troubleshooting. Conversion file contents are not part of those requests.

Hosting is governed by the applicable Sites terms and data processing agreement linked below. Sites does not provide a country-specific data residency commitment for this website. Infrastructure records can be processed across borders; we do not promise storage only in Korea or instant deletion of all provider logs. Retention is limited by the provider’s operational, security and legal requirements. Contact us for an access or deletion request concerning those records.

Support messages and retention

If you email us, your email address, message and any details you choose to provide are received through Google Gmail and used to answer you. Providing them is optional; without contact details we cannot reply. We do not use support messages for marketing. Ordinary inquiries are deleted within 90 days after resolution, unless a dispute or legal requirement requires longer retention.

Where Korean transaction-record rules apply, contract and withdrawal records and payment/supply records are retained for five years, consumer complaint or dispute records for three years, and advertising records for six months. Only necessary records are retained, with restricted access, and deleted when the retention reason ends. Gmail’s processing is also described in Google’s privacy policy.

Accounts, payments and international processing

account.coverton.app processes account IDs, password hashes, sessions, recovery-code hashes, device identifiers, trial/subscription/order and authentication records for access, the two-PC limit, trial reuse prevention, payment verification and support. File contents and card numbers are not sent to this server.

Accounts and encrypted backups are stored and processed on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in Osaka, Japan. Registration, login, device and authentication requests transmit necessary data over HTTPS, including connection information such as IP addresses. Necessary authentication records are kept while the account is in use; closure/deletion requests are handled subject to statutory retention. Contact support@coverton.app.

Windows payments use Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia) hosted checkout. We send an order reference, product and quantity. Creem directly collects the buyer’s email, payment and billing information. We receive customer, transaction and subscription references, status, amounts, periods, refunds and disputes to manage access; we do not collect card numbers. Creem’s privacy notice and DPA below describe its international processing, subprocessors and retention. NICEPAY currently receives no live purchase data.

Without necessary account/purchase processing you cannot use those functions; free web tools remain available. Send access, correction, deletion or restriction requests to our support email. Necessary transaction/dispute records remain until applicable retention obligations end.

Purposes, rights and security

We process only the information needed to deliver requested services, answer inquiries, maintain security and comply with law. Depending on the applicable law, the basis is contract performance, legal obligation, our legitimate interest in secure delivery and support, or consent where required. We use HTTPS, restrict administrative access and avoid collecting conversion contents; no system can guarantee absolute security.

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing where those rights apply. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing and complain to your local privacy authority. Contact our privacy representative below; we may request only the minimum information needed to verify your request. We respond within the applicable legal period and explain any lawful retention or refusal. Local files can be deleted directly on your device.

Children and changes

Coverton is not directed at children below the applicable age of digital consent. Please contact us if a child has sent personal data so we can address it appropriately. Material changes to this policy will be published with an effective date; new uses requiring consent will not begin without it.
