Choose 300 KB, JPEG and allow smaller dimensions. Compare readability before submitting.
Choose 1 MB to keep more detail. The result shows its measured byte size.
Choose WebP to retain transparency. Review appearance and the resulting dimensions.
Useful for attachment limits, profile images and online forms. The tool searches for the highest JPEG/WebP quality that fits your chosen budget; with permission, it reduces dimensions if necessary. A successful result is always checked against the actual byte limit.
Smaller file size can reduce quality or dimensions. Very small targets may be impossible at your minimum quality; the tool tells you instead of labeling an oversized file as successful. Transparency becomes white in JPEG; original EXIF and other metadata are removed.
File names and image bytes never leave your device. Optional usage measurement records only tool events, language and entry point; trial and purchase outcomes are grouped by entry point. Declining measurement does not restrict tools or downloads. Event records are retained for up to 90 days. Change your choice using Usage measurement settings in the footer. Optional statistics also group visits and outcomes as search, direct or referral. They do not contain search terms or referrer URLs.

Add the photo, enter 300 KB and choose JPG or WebP plus minimum quality. Allow resizing if needed; otherwise an unmet target produces an error, not a success message. Review actual bytes, dimensions and legibility. If a site rejects a file near its limit, try a lower target. JPG loses transparency. Keep the original.
